more faces -_- its still pretty hard to draw directly, now im noticing that the screen is too slippery to draw unlike paper i must overcome that...
and it seems i wont be able draw comics/arts as fast as before damn -_-

will try bodies soon...

pic2
Yes, i still do pencils, there's sumthin about the feeling of graphite sliding along a sketchpad that i just can't let go

Quick doodle (around 20-30min i think)
If i have time i will continue my session with teh tablet -_-

rofl, awesome Viper

If you would colour that and clean it a bit it would make a kickass background (the mech scene I mean btw).

I can't stand drawing or even writing with pencil...then again I can't stand drawing on the PC either...the problem I have with pencils is that they are almost always either too sharp or too err...flat (opposite of sharp?) and if on the rare occasion you do get the pencil just right then it only stays so for like a word or 2 or about 10 sketch lines and then you need to spend another half an hour in pursuit of the perfect tip again and again and again...and...well yeah...it's darn tedious and takes far too long...
And clutch pencils continously have to be turned as the perfect tip moves around the thin piece of graphite...at least with my drawing and writing style...

Well, I'm using bicubic sharper interpolation in photoshop to avoid aliasing
The degree of lost cannot be help.
Creating small size render is not desirable due to lack of 2D interpolation handling in Maya, so I just render a large image and shrink it down.

Render it as cell-shaded and then scale down. Cell-shading simplifies the details.

Cell shade is a bit too simple for me xP
I like the 3D effect phone shading gives.
I'm also using raytracing and reflecting.
Plus if it's just cell shading, photoshop or illustrator should be sufficient enough.

AHHH
We should use teapots as stars :O

This is quite uncomfortable for me so I'll try to keep this as brief as possible.
I've never had to ask anyone for help before in art-related issues, so...here goes nothing...
ViperX, I need some help from you...I'm really stuck...
If you can manage to squeeze in your schedule just one extra pic for me, I'd be in your debt...
I'm only asking for a simple pic to understand how to make gore and blood stand out in a black&white pencil-made picture...
So if you could make that picture, I'd be very greatful!

@SCHUMI-4-EVA: Haha, mebbe it just depends on the person, personally i didnt care if it's sharp or dull or anything, i just let it slide most of the time and just vary the pressure i apply on paper, then again im using an automatic mechanical pencil, the one that doesnt require you to push the rear to eject the graphite, it ejects by itself as you apply pressure to the tip as you draw along.

@dolphin1984: like red mentioned, i used a TX2500z tablet PC to draw the digital oens directly on the screen, not the standard pen tablet where you can't see your hands while drawing, also that 30min quickie is on regular pencil and paper

@Fadingz: you really like to put details on the stars hehe

@dimentionalrift: blood and gore eh? hmmm, dunno ill try it if i have time >_>

@Interverse: Nice posing. I used to be decent at ragdoll posing, but I stopped a long time ago.

@Fadingz: Nice. O.O
