Here are pics of my OLD rig... If u look carefully, there is a little black box in the 3.5' bay... that a secondary PSU.. lol. I ran this comp with 2 PSUs because I didn't have the money to buy a real good one. So instead, I used 2 300/350 watt PSUs to power my rig. Also, on the back of my case, I put a power cord plug there and soldered a few wires to my extra PSU just for convenience... That took quite a lot of work pulling it out of the PSU and drilling through aluminum without making it crack.
Anyways here are my old specs:

Aspire X-Dreamer II case (In my bro's rig now)
Sapphire PC-A9RD480Adv (P.O.S... still works, but not in use anymore)
AMD Athlon 3700+ 2.67GHz (Now in my new rig and OCed to 2.95GHz )
1024mb (512mbX2) Dual Channel VALUE RAM (now in my bro's rig)
Sapphire Radeon X850(XT) Crossfire Edition (Now dead I was about to get another X850XT too )
160WD IDE 7200rpm HDD (In my bro's rig again)

PS: My computer is really messy... as u can cleary see. Thats what happens when u have 2 PSUs and 2 many useless/extra cords.

PS#2: Ill try to post pics of my new AWSOME rig as soon as i get a new USB cable for my camera.

Actually I got another microatx case that is smaller, it is a Antec Aria. It was so small that you can't even fit a video card inside. Right now it is my family's multimedia center, with integrated nvidia 6150.

Haven't posted in here for a while so I probably should do an update.

Pentium III: Put a pair of 256 MB PQI CAS2 PC133 sticks in it. Got a P3 933 for free from my high school. Tossed the old 16 MB Vanta and put in my old Radeon 9500 Pro. Now it runs Half-Life 2 with max settings at 1024x768, if you ignore the hard drive thrashing .

Athlon XP: Got a Radeon 9800 Pro off of eBay. Replaced the old Thermalright ALX-800 heatsink with a Thermaltake Big Typhoon, now the CPU doesn't break 50 C while running Prime95, even when it's 87 F/30 C in my room and I'm trying to hit 2.4 GHz with upwards of 1.9 volts. It's also MUCH quieter.

Mac: Threw the old RAM from the P3 into it so it's running 192 MB now instead of 32. Got rid of OS 8.1, now it's dualbooting 9.2.2 and 10.2 . Haven't messed with it since I did that though.

Pentium I: Finally threw in the Voodoo 1 that I had lying around but never had used. All the Glide games I've tried on it run quite fast and look nice.

Athlon 64: Tried making my 3700+ naked (removing the heatspreader). I ended up getting it off, but not without banging it up a bit. I had to break open a shaver head and use one of the paper thin razor blades from that to get under the heatspreader and pop it off. It runs a little bit cooler than before, but not enough for the hassle to be worth it . Finally got some replacement RAM from Crucial and it's working well so far.

Back in the end of June, I picked up the Big Typhoon and an Opteron 170. It didn't overclock as well as I had hoped, and I had issues with it booting up correctly (which I think is the PSU saying it's tapped out). I sold the 170 to RF and put the BT in the other computer. I'm going to replace it with an Opteron 165, hopefully a CCBBE 061x. I'll also probably pick up an OCZ GameXStream 700w PSU and a Thermalright SI-128, provided it'll fit around my stuff.

There's some pictures of most of the above stuff here. I'll probably add a few more tomorrow.

Just bought a new thermaltake Armour case for my system, so i thought i better update my pics.

Unlike industrian i went for the Silver model, simply because his black one weighs 16Kg and the Silver weighs just 6Kg

anyways, news pics now with Armour and 7900GTX

Sweet as. I can run everything at max my monitor can handle, usually with AFx16 and if im not using HDR, i whack AA on the max the game will take and still have it playable. the only game to stress it so far is Oblivion which runs at 15-200fps with 30fps avg (outdoors).

steel pwns aluminum. i have an all steel case and it is heavy as hell, but it just feels so much better. i've built a few systems in alum cases and they just seem weak to me. it's scary to carry them around, they bend really easily and, i dunno. i also like the steel case because it doubles as a chair during a LAN
