Dell 19" LCD (standard 4:3

). The old Compaq CRT was starting to give way, lots of flickering (even at 75Hz) and occasional distortion of display as well......apart from the fact that it was a 200W behemoth. I dunno why Compaq makes the crappiest monitors in the world, IBM 21" CRTs only take 110W but a Compaq 19" just has to take up a full 200W! Initially I planned to get one of those 20" widescreen ones ones but discovered that WDs any smaller then 22" look like crap and the cheapest 22" is a Samsung T220 costing $350!

P.S. The store didn't have DVI cable so I'm forced to use analogue VGA adapter for now

Will get a DVI ASAP!

Actually they're just 2 years old

I honestly don't need anything more, but I'm still considering getting a Creative 2.1 system at some point in the future to see if it really does make a difference.

Ha, thats weak

Ill have to take pics of my dads/my setup. Since my pc is being loaned we hooked my 5.1 logitech system with my dads 7.2(5.1+2.1) totalling a 12.3 system. Kinda wierd, its like one 5.1 is left and the other 5.1 is right. the 2.1 is center. sorta. its a strange config

makes the room vibrate.

I'm certain my former university uses those in the main labs as well.

Dells mainly situated in Canada, so we've kinda abundant with them. Even though you can only buy their stuff online or through their customer service. Which is odd, but it works for them.
