It didnt seem overpriced to me (been using IBM for quite some time now), but anyway its worth it, can you beat someone to a pulp with a G15 ? i think not but you can with a IBM. I think that's how they should do there commercials: "Buy our keyboards, use it for: gaming, writing & the best part use it to beat people up! Cant find your baseball club ? no problem you can do just as much damage with our keyboard! Buy it today now!

Here's my "l33t" system, relatively speaking... ![]() 1337.jpeg Yes, it's dusty. I know this. I took this pic over the weekend while cleaning it up. I removed the CPU and GPU heat pipes and discovered why I was getting higher than normal temps: the stock thermal grease had solidified completely and was all crusty. (especially on the GPU) Some acetone, paper towels, and arctic silver fixed that. ![]() As a side note, I wish other laptop vendors would use a similar cooling solution to what I have. Most that I have seen that actually use heat pipes have both the CPU and GPU sharing the same radiator. I know you can't really see it too well, but the design in my laptop each has its own radiator and they share the same cooling fan. Later models are the same (separate radiators) but each radiator has its very own cooling fan.

Older does not necessarily = better. Dell products can be just as good; my Dell Optiplex GX1 has been going strong since 1996 - present day. Okay so their products are high quality, very redundant and reliable. So what? They're so damn expensive I might as well get cheap Acer product and change it regularly

Acer ? no f... way. Btw i only bought two keyboards in my life both from IBM, ones as old as my grandma (figure of speach here to lazy to actually give a year) but still works flawlessly and the other is a little newer (a multimedia usb keyboard) and still works like day one, with IBM keyboards the only reason i upgraded was because i wanted a change

Logitech has awesome customer service. And the keyboard rocks. The LCD screen can show tons of stuff.

A little off topic, but I had to post this somewhere. Well, the LCD is pretty 1337, despite being Best Buy's in house brand. ![]() Man in the Box, Hard, 99%, 829 note streak (Rock Band 2 PS3 - Drums). w00t. |

The Insignia screens are getting better and better with each new product line update. Looks quite good. 99% on Man in the Box is a great score. I still need to get used to using the foot pedal as it is where I usually screw up a good streak.

Hey everybody. I finally got myself a laptop. whoot. This are the main aspects. ASUS G50VT-X1 CPU: INTEL CORE 2 DUO P8400 2.26GHZ OC to 2500MHZ VGA: NVIDIA GEFORCE 9800 GS 512MB DDR3 256 BIT RAM: HYNIX 4GB DDR2 800 HDD: SEAGATE 320GB 7200RPM RES: 1366x768 I don't mind it, I never game at higher res. SIZE:15.6 Inches. I got it for aprox. 800 dollars trough the best buy outlet on ebay. I was on a tight budget for a laptop, and this is really the best I could get. There are some series P gateways around but not at that price. And I know that this is nothing compared to desktops but is a great laptop in my opinion. Works for me that I have to take it with me everyday to work and I can game on it. Everest. ![]() Here are some shots. ![]() ![]() ![]() Bought a Zalman ZM-NC2000 for it. Gotta keep it cool while gaming. ![]() ![]() It comes with a Software Direct Console which safely overclocks the cpu, control the back and side lights and the lcd screen. ![]() This is my 3dmark 2003 score the other downloads are too big for my connection. ![]() I'm getting 50+ fps on Gears of war and Jericho at 1366x768 4x AA 8x AF. Call of Duty 4 runs on max settings at that res too. Pcsx2 with FFX runs really fast, I mostly use Vsync at 60fps. Yeah I know that is not a good benchmark for pcsx2 but I don't have any other game atm. ![]() Going to get Devil May Cry 4 and Assasins Creed soon. Waiting for Street Fighter 4. ![]() Still testing and configuring some emulators for it but I can say that I am very satisfied with it. My last computer had a E4300 OC to 3.06ghz and a P5B Deluxe with a Nvidia 6800 Vanilla. So the upgrade on the video card is very welcome.

The cooler is probably completely unnecessary, but otherwise awesome. Grats

Thanks. Seems I have your Approval Spyhop. ![]() You don't know the temps in my country Dominican Republic. At work is really hot in the afternoon so the cooler helps a lot. Laptops tend to get so hot that you feel the heat from the keyboard. Planning on getting a good mouse like a G5 or something like it down the road.
