So? I currently have 2 GB, and only while running XP on virtual machine plus LOTS of FF tabs with Flash games do I manage to bottle-neck it. Its fine in terms of gaming too. Plus you can always pop in 2x2GB modules which are WAY more then what I need my PC for and for modern games.

I don't want to click on link, Isn't it easier just to type it in the signature rather than posting a link to another website. If you wanted to type less in your signature then that was a really dumb idea

You realize there is a character limit for signatures? Besides, Schumi and jonc pointed out that it looked too big with the specs on

considering the size of most posts, i could infact implement a Specs section in the miniprofile to the left of posts.

Not really needed IMHO. We already have a portion for that on the main profile page. The only benefit of one in the mini-profile would be a bigger e-peen for those with high-fi rigs xD

I have my relevant specs in my sig and it takes up no room. Clicking on my specs brings you to this very thread, to the posts of my system pics.

Whilst there is a character limit as correctly pointed out by gamefreak there also is a limit to how long you sig can actually be, for instance even if the pic was only 19kb or less having a 1024x768 pic in your sig just would not be on, it makes the sig too tall. How tall too tall is however is left up to the discretion of admins and mods as well as you own common sense, there's no specific limit. The reason why people have a problem with this is because if you have a giant monitor then 1024x768 is nothing and you quickly scroll past it, however if you have say use a netbook or simply an older smaller monitor then 1024x768 may take up you entire screen or at least most of it and that's just not on, a mere signature should never take up that much space.

Half size cards are know as "low profile" cards. They're intended for smaller (thinner width wise if standing up vertically) cases, and often come with the bracket for both a small profile case and a standard width case. Many cards that don't need much space may also be made low profile to save costs (less wasted PCB and/or materials).

Redlof and young freak, take 1 hour each, grab some compressed air and get to work cleaning. Seriously. You will gain 500mhz extra just by doing that rather simple task. Be careful though, that dust look like it could contain strains of hantivirus...or swine flu.

I am allergic to dust. I can't use anything which would blow the dust from the cabinet.

@gamefreak
I don't drink and I was not drunk when I made that post.
