Here is a picture of my new case.. i can't get a real pic, but imagine..

with 1 more fan in the inside, and 4 LED tubes like the ones on the front inside the case, with my other stuff in there.. very possible to imagine. The front LCD changes colors and stays on as long as the PSU switch is on.. Oh, and did i mention this and a new 400w power supply cost a total of.. 55 USD?

Well, it might sound like a jet taking off, but it'll be well worth it if it keeps my new rig cooled off as I am going to try to push a Athlon 2500 to 3200 speeds.

Edit: Flying mouse, I saw your case. But I only paid $53 for mine plus an extra $10 for a couple of fans. The PSU is only 350W, but that will change when I put my new rig in here. My case will only glow blue, and thats the only color I want it to glow, as it is my favorite, aside from black.

Well, i have to say this case is quite a shock to me, it surpasses my old, boring, gray ( ugh! the pain! ) by a few hundred kilometers, give or take a few. To be exact on the price i paid, it was US$54.50

My case before this one was a crappy generic black one. I had to run it with the side panel off to keep it from overheating. My processor with my new case runs 51-52 C. But thats cause I have a Palomino and the fact that a speeze hsf is the worst one you can buy. At least I can keep the side panel on with this case.

Here's some updated pics with my new hardware (3 R/G/B LED 80mm Case Fan), 40GB Seagate HDD, and 256MB more ram. 128+64+256=448.

I'd clean up the look inside of that case if I were you. Remember that air circulation is a GOOD thing I like the style of the case bezel, though.

After posting at a wrong thread... l'm going to re post my old rig (old because i just changed the case, and planning to get some lexan...)

The case is simple enough, a 60mm fan infront of the HDD, and 2 92mms on front and side... and oh, did i mention it's silent?

Heh, hell yes. UT2K4 loads 100X faster, and I get no loading hitches in game. WinXP is much faster too.

Serath: yeah, I figure I'll do that today. Had to get everything working first though, you know?

Hey cooliscool, what are you temps in speed fan? I wanna know what your northbridge hits, I added a cheap 586 fan and put it upside down on my NB heatsink to suck air away from it and now my temps for normal tasking are around 25-26 degrees. BTW, awesome case, I want one like that cept white instead of silver.

24C NB, 29C CPU, 22C PSU, 36C HDD1 (40gb).

My CPU fan is actually a 7000 RPM 12V case fan which I have rigged @ 17V (that's alotta air ). It blows air all over my case and sounds like a jet engine (cliche). BTW, my northbridge doesn't have a fan on it ATM. Also, here's something I wanted to point out: look at my 12V reading. 0.80V? How the hell? I know it's right though, because my fans won't spin at all if I have them plugged into their respective plugs on the mobo, so I have my CPU fan ghetto rigged to get power straight from my PSU's Main molex. Strange thing is, that's runnig off the 12V line too...

Must be my mobo..

Hah, no, it's right. Sandra and Via HM tell me the same thing.. it's quite cool when you stick your hand in the case, too.

You're just in denial cause you can't be as 1337 as me or my 1337 PC. j/k.

Yeah.. 10% fluctuations (7000 to 6800) but trust me: You dont want it.. even if it does push 38 CFM of air, it goes at 40 decibels, and you (probably) wont hear yourself think (most of people's noise preference is at 20db, anything more is noise pollution and irritates the ear)..

Cut me down when i accidentally hit it (OUCH!).. the one of the blades broke and i was left with a very deep wound on my finger..

Yep, but I doubt that's the problem. I think it's because there was a strand of exposed live wire coming from the fan's "cord". It touched the side of my case, made a spark, the PC shutdown, that fan died. Everything after that worked fin except sound (I even bought a new sound card), and I can't OC my videocard by even 1mhz or it'll f-up. I think it fried a few things. Everything is recognized and the PC runs fine, just lack of sound for some reason (see my "Sound Card Problems" thread).

Its hidden from view, but a Belkin USB hub
