Better not say that too loud.

I'm just kidding Spyhop.

I used to have a Black Dell P991 (I think that was the model name?). It was a 19" Shadow Mask CRT that had a maximum resolution of 1600x1200. It came with a Dimension 4300 back in way early 2000-something. It was a nice monitor, but it was known to get very blurry in the center after a few years, and I mean it got very blurry, so I had to toss it for a smaller (but better) 17" Gateway VX700 Aperture Grille (also 1600x1200 resolution maximum, which was rare for a 17" from 1998!) until I got my current one, which I won't trade for anything, and plan to buy a duplicate secondhand soon just in case. I hope the M992 doesn't have that issue.

Anywho, it's nice to know there's some people who still appreciate CRT though. It's just a shame that means nothing to the market. Damn this corporate world. It will (as we know it) one day fall!

My shadow mask Dell M992 has no blur problems...anywhere on the screen...

My dad has a 19" Sony Trinitron GX420 or something (I forget the model name) aperture grille CRT...probably the best CRT I've ever seen, does 2048x1536 maximum, the picture quality is impeccable =P But it's much, MUCH heavier than my Dell therefore it doesn't go very far, and he probably will never sell it, picture quality is too damn nice =P I'd like it, but I don't really need it, my Dell already does the job wonderfully.

I was looking at that one when I bought mine!

I went for the V2400W instead though cause of the screens 16:10 ratio! I didn't think as highly of the 16:9 ratio of the E2200HD and who can argue with having an extra 120 pixels UP/Down res

Time for an update now that I have my nice new shiny LG W2252TQ (damn printer, it's spoiling the blackness)

(no that's not a PC monitor behind the LG, it's a TV monitor, it's turned that way so that the cats don't knock it onto the floor when they jump on it)

They are really cheap. I don't want to an expensive set and have the cable go on me...which always happens...over the last 3 years I have gone through around 10 headsets of varying quality from different brands...and the damn cable always goes...so I prefer to just buy a cheap one I can replace every half a year or so (specifically the Genius HS-04A which is dirt cheap but better than some more expensive ones...and comfy too..well it used to be anyways, they redesigned it a while ago and greatly narrowed the cups...still ends up comfy after a couple of weeks of sore ears though).

Next time I am considering getting either a Steelseries 3H or a Zalman RS6F-M or a Cyber Snipa Sonar 5.1...no point though if they all have the same dinky little cable which easily breaks.

Will do! But honestly without experience with other surround headphones it will be hard for me to say if they are better then something else!

But if you want honest feedback on the quality of the G35's I can certainly provide that at the time!

Thinking of grabbing a pair myself.

Sennheiser PC 350 Closed Circumaural Dynamic PC Gaming Headset w/ Noise-Cancelling Mic at Memory Express Computers

I need to do a little more reading on that one before I make my decision. But that seems to be in the front of my list atm.

Same thing here but after i got my Philips SBC HP200 that stopped, i've been using them for at least 3 years now with no problem.

what's the difference between headphone and headset? they are both the same right?
I've been using the same headphones for 9 years now and they are still working perfect. Although I have changed its wire lots of times.
