When i was pulling my videocard out yesterday i notice there was quite some dust on the inside of the videocard fan even though i do use fan filters. But the Aluminium fan filters they sell here aren't to effective T.T Quote:
I was looking for a place for it, but i couldn't find a logical place to put it. There is this box i sometimes rest my foot on when sitting behind the pc, and the subwoofer is just a bit too big to fit between. Does it actually matter much btw? I never been to sound savy, coming from notebook speakers to these cheap speakers, i already thought they were quite good, even though i know the bass is somewhat strange with these... Btw wanna hear what kind of things happened to my computer components when installing the scythe retention kit yesterday? 1. Dropped my cpu when putting AS-5 on it. Tried Arctic-Cooling MX-2, but the results weren't as expected, i suspect i have a crappy tube. (removed and installed it 3 times to test the cooling pasta) 2. When i was done screwing my retention kit to the mobo, it(mobo + cpu cooler) felt off my Cm690 that was on it side, so a fall of 20-35 cm or so. 3. Asus motherboard REALLY are ROCK SOLID! Except for their second PCI-E lever. That one broke. It's still attached, but it is broken, you can actually see it on pic 005. Though not really important, as it's not like your videocard would fall out without it. 4. When moving around i scratched a aluminum fan filter at my new CM690 sidepanel... leaving a small scratch ![]() Sephi stupidity in a nutshell.

Sephi i admire how neat nice and tidy your system and computer area is and DaStringer77 I admire how messy and dusty your system and computer area is. Both of you display both extremes of computer manliness.

No, My last one was a micro, this is the Standard ATX, yours appears to be the next size up, they are the same height but yours is wider!

K, so I hadn't used ATi for a long time. I gave them another shot with the 4870 but after a couple of months there were too many small annoyances bothering me. Nothing serious, just enough small problems and incompatibilities to make me go back to nvidia. So I found a buyer for my 4870, I banished it from my system, and I picked this baby up.
