Mine has purchased every expansion under the sun. It was my fault, I got it for her as a birthday gift, and now occasionally she neglects her homework to play that damn game

It's acceptable if you are limited on space...other than that though it's plain daft.

I have a slide out tray for my desk, its definitely a must for me. As otherwise the keyboard would be on the main portion of the desk and too high for easy use and for ergonomics. Inversely if I got a higher chair or a lower desk/table the desk would be too low and thus the monitor positioned to low.

Ideally you want a pullout tray. Thats why all the computer desks come with them.

The Pink one on the shelf is "No more tangles" spray for my daughters hair!
The blue one on the desk is regular 30+ sunscreen!

I prefer a pull-out tray. I actually went to the trouble of making sure I had one!

Yeah I have a pull-out tray too, and I wouldn't want it to be any other way

All computer desks are small horribly flimsy things though, that are not really designed with a performance computer in mind, more just a moderate user on some low-end/medium PC, and their build quality reflects this.
I would hate to see my beast of a machine in one of those small rickety things.

Yeah most desks tend to be small, but mine is pretty decent IMO. 4'x2', my 19" CRT is a tight fit on it, but with an LCD, I'd have masses of free space. Leaves plenty of room for other components, I could even easily fit a full-tower case on here if I had one

I have a sturdy, solid wood computer desk, made out of the highest quality partical board. Got it from staples. $300 and i could lie ontop of it without it breaking. Thing must weight 180lbs.

My PC desk is an antique desk from the 1920's, sturdy as a fat man wearing anvils. It was my grandmother's. Works perfectly as a PC desk.

I can back this statement. His desk is a beast and looks like it could handle any computer. Plenty of space there for 2 more monitors PCXL

Following pics are my current set up on my soon to be primary computer desk. As you can see, it's quite large Sitting on top is my brand spanking new Cooler Master HAF 932. I've moved my PSU, hard drives and DVD-burner into it so far.

The next ones are of my 9800GX2 without it's shell Don't worry, as you can see, I am wearing my wrist strap

Sorry about the quality of the pics, I'm using my laptop camera cause I have no clue where my powershot is
