Still don't understand it, but a friend of mine who works for CompUSA had this thing returned, for obvious reasons. It would flip back and forth from working properly to working as pictured every few minutes. First time I had seen anything like it.

It's a translation from a game called Zero Wing. The game was released with a very, very poor translation. For some reason, people seemed to think it was the funniest thing in the world, though games are constantly released with bad translations.
I guess most people just never play games. |
