You think that's a good drive? I did this, all on impulse, a few weeks back, and am doing it again in a few more. It took about a day and a half total, and I had very little sleep the whole way until the very end (no motel, but we'll stop at one next time). That's not even counting that we started the trip at about 11:30 P.M. at night, so it's not like I had much sleep beforehand either. Four states (could had been five if I stepped North a bit into Michigan on the way back) in a day and a half, but it was fun.

Those maps seriously make the distance traveled look alot less than they are. It was about 650 to 750 miles from there and back alone, not counting the side exploration we did.

That's also not counting going to Erie, Pennsylvania the other night, which is further from where I live than you are from West Virginia. It's probably like half an hour tops from you from looking at the map, right? That's not too bad.

Damn, those are some long drives. I don't travel much though, the farthest I've gone is Charleston, WV.

Kennywood,
Cedar Point,
Six Flags,
Back to Canton,
Aunt's House in Kentucky

Going to be an epic month in my summer.

Just calculated it, ~1230 miles.
