slash great work, im trying to model weapons in MAX, if you want a suggestion, try adding a cool handlebar type of thing at the bottom instead of a straight pole.

Well, my sword is somewhat more material

You sword looks more like very long army knife. Too heavy at end, kind of hard to slash and even harder to thrust. Blade is too heavy for one hand, but handle is too short for two. Looks nice though
