Simple text change for a logo

I am wondering how to change text on a pre-made logo without messing up the design? I need to change the text on a logo before tomorrow for a Halloween theme but am stumped how to do it without butchering the logo in the process.

Here it is, need the text changed to "Xtemulation". I tried asking on my forum but couldn't get anyone interested in helping, the last thing I wanted to do was having to resort to posting the request here..

like spyhop said cannot extract it. Try giving the psd though else its difficult to change the font.

My fault, it won't extract with the built in Windows zip extractor due to me compressing with 7-zip and LZMA compression. You should be able to extract it now.

You're very welcome.

The PSD file (Adobe Photoshop's native format) contains all the layer information. The text is a separate layer, so you just need to open it in Photoshop and edit that layer. Very easy.

Well except for the fact that I don't have Photoshop..

How did you find the correct font though, I've never seen such a font that was used on the logo.

Well other then searching i can't think of an answer if fonts is what interest you then you should try: 1001freefonts.
