Next time they should probably leave a mockup of what I think, at least at this stage, is the final battle out of the performance test of their games. The entire thing felt like watching a spoiler rather than a benchmark. Game does indeed run great though, I think the lowest I saw during the entire benchmark was 61.25FPS and I only saw that for a second and that's with the game maxed at 1280x1024.

BurnOut is smooth as butter.
lol yea, when I saw the fire monster, I was thinking to myself,"how the heck am I going to win against such a thing ". And to top that I played the game with my onboard geforce which could barely touch 30fps max.

I don't feel they have a right to complain about it until they release a PC title at the same time as console. Most PC gamers, if they already own the console, won't wait for the PC release.

Hah, I pwned that beast!

Actually it really was pretty big for being the first boss in the game... Oh right, I have the game for PS3! ...I really should play that game again sometime soon! ...So many games, so little time!

Nice collection schumi... Though the last pic just shows how deep the red alert franchise has fallen, at least the first RA could be taken somewhat seriously. I weep how stupid it has become, the idea it had had so much potential!

If you ignore the bimbos and Tim Curry trying to be russian...and failing.. then it still is a really fun game just like the old red alert. To me at least it reminds me a lot of RA2, my favourite C&C game and I am glad I bought it, and doubly glad that I waited for it to drop from $40-50 down to $20. As I said before Red Alert always has been over the top (Dictators using time machines? ...like where would you see that in any other RTS?). The core gameplay seems to still be the same as RA2.

Edit: Just got through another tutorial (damn that was a long one XD) and what RA RA for me is still there, the units, the awesome individual units...although the soviets seem overpowered XD and I don't like the way the japs and allies build (slows everything down cuz you have to wait for the structure to be deployable)...and I am sure people like Spyhop are cringing at the mechs the Empire of the Rising Sun uses.
Also perhaps it's just because it's a tutorial but there were virtually no defensive structures...other than the special ability of the soviet engineer to turn himself into a bunker...this includes missing Tesla coils (although tesla trooper and another tesla unit exist)....
If you liked RA2 you should be right at home, well if you ignore the extra bimbos....at least Tanya still behaves like Tanya.

Also that big fire horseminotaur thing, (checks manual) err Berial is just the first Boss? Well that's a relief. I would hate for them to spoil the game so by showing you a mockup of the final fight.

Edit: Also it's impossible to play DMC4 with a keyboard...well at least for me....it took me like 50 tries to get the upwards blast and the roll right respectively.....

lol yeah, you definitely need a gamepad for this game. I'd suggest a gamepad which has all the buttons as a ps2 gamepad with analog sticks.
There are a lot of monsters in the game
Spoiler:
and in the ending the monster is of epic proportions/size. And this is not the only time you get to see the fire monster, He'll be BACK

Also yeah redlof, once again I am very glad that I purchased my Logitech Rumblepad 2 last year as it will come in real handy with this game.

Oh you have no idea how huge the last boss is.
Also there is a stage near the end of the game which is really frustrating, if you clear that stage in one piece then you are lucky.
One hint, collect as many orbs as possible and always explore your surroundings.

As I said before, getting money, dieing on a jump 100s of times, or just plain dying and having to reload or other things annoy me and detract from my enjoyment of the game so I eliminate them. I don't cheats things like infinite NOS or max abilities though, that stuff I play the game propperly for.
I care for the content of a game, not the challenge it provides (well with racing games I do care for the challenge but I don't want to have to continously grind to get enough cash to buy the next car or whatever).
Don't worry though if you ever encounter me online (which is rare), I will not be cheating, I only cheat single player to get rid of the grinding, otherwise I play the game propperly though.

DMC4 is not like POP, I hate POP. If you fall from somewhere you won't die. Basically you won't fall at all. If not a trainer you may definitely need a walk through for this game somewhere in the middle cause if you get lost you won't be able to find your way back to the correct path and will be running in circles.

The only trainer options I am currently using for DMC4 are infinite health (I prefer pwning the AI regardless of how (I don't feel that way about human players) as I only get frustration when dying and I don't get the feel good feeling after having survived the challenge or level regardless of whether I use trainers or not.

That by the way is one reason why I am loving POP, especially with the camera angles the way they are and with my inability to fully understand the games mechanics at this stage (when doing wall running instead of jumping to the opposite wall I keep on jumping into nowhere and having to be saved and I can't figure out why) I would have probably needed to reload like 60 times already and that's just at the intro part.

Hah, yeah, I hate it when the game mixes either the direction I'm jumping or instead of wallrunning the Prince jumps into the bottomless pit. I "died", like, 120 times because of that stuff.

Still, the game is way too easy because of it's forgiveness which I like and don't like at the same time.

The only thing I find stupid is that the enemies also actually save me from falling to my death XD, you would think they would push me and it would be up to Elika to save me, rather than the enemy throwing me back into the middle of the "arena".

The new one. Only Prince of Persia I ever played...I was considering also buying the Trilogy...but considering how hard some people say the earlier games are I decided not to.

If you, like me, hate to fall off a cliff and die, then don't buy any of the older prince of persia games.

I most certainly don't. So no I won't buy them.

My next purchases are likely be be Tom Clancy's HawX and The Last Remnant.

And then I will mostly be done for a while, all my gaming categories have been refreshed with new games.

I am sorted for Strategy (although I guess I still need something like Rise of Nations), sorted for Racing, mostly sorted for RPGs and sorted for FPSs (my least favourite genre).
After HawX I will be sorted for Flight Sims/Arcade flight sim fighters (been a while since we got anything good on PC) and The Last Remnant should aside from a future Fable 2 for PC round up my RPG collection.

Well, those people probably played it on normal or hard. I played Warrior Within, when it came out, on easy (medium was too hard for me) and I had no problems with the game. Whenever I got stuck on some puzzle I just read a FAQ.

Really, it's a shame if you don't try the original trilogy because of difficulty. It's a bit dated in terms of graphics but it's a fun ride and I'm sure you'll take a liking for the "old" Prince.

Its better to play Assassins Creed then POP IMO. Better graphics, better gameplay and perhaps good storyline too.
