Damn that sucks...it just does not feel right racing with some crappy unknown car. I wish they would fork out some dough and get some propper licencing....or at least do like GTA does and name the car say Speedster and make it look exactly like a Ferrari 360 Modena.

Why would you play a game with the sound off? That's what I did when I was younger and Doom scared me.

because it is very creepy and scary. monsters always burst out of somewhere and scare the baby Jesus out of me. When the sound is off, all the monsters looks like funny limping creatures.

I do it... when I want to play my own (better) music.

that works if you are playing a racing game which has crappy music. or with games like GTA where you can use your own collection as a radio station.

I've used own music for NFSHS and Underground. For GTA, idea of having own radio station is great.

My friend told me some years ago that he played Doom (Legacy) and used Final Fantasy IX OST as game-music. My other friend used to turn all sounds off and let the metal flow from his CD-player.

Doom is quite pleasing while listening to some crazy hard rock or metal.

Death metal usually works better either that or black metal with Doom or some really really happy music, just to make it more fun, but each to their own i guess

"Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight" would be an epic song to play during Doom.

Imagine playing GTA SA to "Making love out of nothing at all" "Karma Chameleon" "Touch Myself" or some other similar music?

well i found in gta 3 i drive better with billy joel playing in the backround. Im not sure why, it just makes it easier to get in sync with the crazy car control in the game.

Oddly enough, back in Doom's hayday I heard Karma Chameleon CONSTANTLY, so I relate anything Boy George to Doom.

Weird, I know.

I do it with just about everything, and only turn it off for voice acting that has no subtitles.

I'll turn off my outside music so I can hear spoken dialogue.

Doom is indeed epic whilst listening to "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight" by Tiny Tim. Confirmed by me.
