Yes the gekko website is down. We plan on changing hosts when it gets back up.

Could this possibly have any relation to the generalemu downed server, or just high load ?

dunno we're hosted by the Emulation64 Network. We're on the same server as http://www.dcemu.co.uk which is also down

Sounds like this is grounds for a highlevel IRC consultation session. What's to do after this is fixed? New hosting? Go independant ?

I think they should be in control of their own emulator and site. I don't think that would be the case on someones site while sharing.

Just my thoughts.

We already have a new host all setup that Lightning is hosting. We just need a recent backup to transfer the website.

I just happen to have a dedicated server i pay for that can be used. Plenty of bandwidth, space, etc.
