GCEmu has no audio support as of now, perhaps in its next release (that is of course if there ever will be a second release)

@aldebaran, your second image wont display for me, can you upload it using the forums attach feature, or just tell me the problem.

EDIT: Working fine now, you either don't have your graphics card drivers installed or your GPU is too outdated to run it.

There is no game pad support, its open source you could always add it in yourself.

@Kazerd the chances of anything being released seemed unlikely at this point.

@Theres a compat list you can check, however barely any games work, and the green screen pretty much means 'no compatible'

While unsure about your black screen, the language selection is referring to the option in the smash brothers menu. (The game is totally destroyed anyway in terms of its GFX).

Nope, it would be very slow too. Anyways, why GCEmu? Use Dolphin, it's the best choice at the moment, it plays a lot of GC & Wii games perfectly. GCEmu is really outdated and was not being worked on for a long time

Please don't revive old threads that have been long dead with a generic question not specifically related to the original topic, this topic is well over a year old. Instead please open a new topic if you have any questions or inquiries.

Also Gcemu is quite old and hasn't been in development in years, any other Gamecube emulators besides Dolphin has severe compatibility issues and no sound, and only works with very few games.

I am not even sure any games are fully playable on other emulators besides Dolphin. The best emulator to currently use for Gamecube and Wii games is Dolphin, providing your system supports the minimum requirements in order to run Dolphin.

Please read this:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Dolphin

Then read this:

Dolphin Requirements

Those are likely the bare minimum for Gamecube emulation and Dolphin period, you'll find that requirements will either be higher than that or not much different than the requirements for Dolphin, between different emulators providing you could get games to work at all on other emulators..

Thread closed.
