Speed differences?

I know the main site says this emulator is faster then dolphin so I'm just wondering what sort of speed people are seeing. So far I've only tried Bust a move and zelda wind waker. Wind waker didn't work and Bust a move runs at about 15-20fps. But on dolphin I can easily get 40fps in bust a move.

I'm sorta hoping dolphin goes faster because it's a 2d and this one goes faster on 3d games. I'm going ot test some other games to see as well. But I don't have very many.

3D is much faster in GCemu. for exemple :

Crash Bandicoot runs at about 0.5 FPS on Dolphin while GCemu hits 7-8 FPS
Crazy Taxi is faster too, Naruto also.

Note : you need a SSE2 compatible processor to really notice the real speed differences between both Emu (GCEmu/Dolphin).

whats SSe2 processor?

its a feature your processor has. either you have it or not. you can still play games with GCemu if your CPU doesnt support SSE2 but it wont be as fast.

IIRC Pentium 4s and AMD FX and 64 support SSE2....
