NFS carbon on my crap specs

Well i finally got the emulater to run NFS carbon except there a few problems

1. game is slow(i expected that)
2. Sound is really wacked out cause its so slow
3. I cant get in a race i get to quickrace it loads the race then it stops and i can see the bottom of a car except the texture are stuffed up and the loading screen is still showing ontop is this because of my bad specs
P4 3.047ghz with HT
1.256 ddr1 ram
x800 gto agp

or does this game usaully not work ingame just menus.

Yes, Carbon (US) goes to menus in 0.9.4, according to the official compatibility list

In fact wouldn't the PC version LOOK better and maybe have more features than the PS2 version, as well as cost less?

I snagged it off EBay for less than $10, shipping included.

I have the XBOX version, but Charline's getting it when I get a 360!
