Question about Dynasty Warriors 5 special

I got this game, which unfortunately is in chinese. My questions are:

1) Is all the characters are available since the beginning of the game?
2) Is there any mode that you can create your own character?
3) Is there any way to change the menu to English?

I need to confirm the things mentioned above to make sure I bought the right game. Anyone who got this game please help me. Thanks.

Hmm......

- Not all characters are available, you must finish the story mode in using the different factions in order to unlock characters.

- Not really I think, this is not Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

- Nothing that I know of either.

- Not all characters are available at the beginning of the game, but you can unlock most of them just with beating the game. There are some special characters that require special conditions to be unlocked, but they are mostly optional opponents that you need to defeat... so you may unlock them without knowing. Just make sure you kill everything you see in your path and you are bound to unlock something.
- Creating your own custom character is only available in the Extreme Legend or Empires versions of a Dynasty Warriors game. You have the Special edition... in which the options for creating a custom character are out. They are Edit Mode and Destiny Mode.
- There is no way to change the menu to English from another language for any Dynasty Warriors game.

And yes, you bought the right game. It just doesn't have some specific stuffs other versions have.

Funny, the one I got has all the characters available right at the beginning... anyway to undo this? It's not the save file as long as I know, as there are no save file at all, and I didn't apply any patch or trainers at all...

I got all the characters from the moment I install the game. There's nothing to unlock besides the items, and this annoy me...
