"couple of flaws i see in this trailer:

1 . he killed some of the un arm civilian lol, the game should punish the player by sending more AI reinforcement.
2. he pull out a bullet from his palm. Now how the hell did a bullet got into his palm when hes holding a M60?
(they should make the player pulling bullet out of his chest, leg, eyes [opps you're dead] or other part of the body beside a palm. That was the only flaw i see so far, rest are pretty nice. Oh yea a head shot from AI should kill the main player to add real depth, noticed I didn't use the world realism? [taking so much hits yet the main char could aim and shot like **** Cheney "

I really cant wait to get my new gfx card (8800gts) so I can play some new games, by the time this comes out im going to have libary of shooters to play. Looks utterly amazing though, loved FarCry heaps, looking forward to it.

If you listen, thats just one of the actions you'll need to do when you are wounded. IIRC he said there would be around 60 so its not really a flaw since its just a beta and they dont ahve the other actions in.

I have couple of questions:

whats IIRC stand for?

if you watch the whole trailer, there was other case where he stabbed his leg with a knife to heal up his wound/pulling bullet out? That doesn't make any sense, I mean won't that make it even worst?

Using beta as an excuse to denied the flaw is unacceptable. If the narrator bragged about their demo being "realism and all"

Didn't you see Rambo?, come on man everyone knows that when you get shot you should remove the bullet with a combat knife and then you have to cauterize it using black powder.

I didnt watch it completly so i didnt see the knife in the leg. And i still cant see that as a flaw.... it is totally possible to receive a bullet in the hand even when holding a gun...

And a beta is a great excuse for missing actions like they say.

I have not seen monkiz till now, but I guess I've seen a goat sat on the side assent of one of those militar Jeeps It was cool

My other complaints are the sound (char's speech sounds like he talking inside a box) and the graphics do not please me. They are cool indeed but, the water feels like melted plastic to me. :|

true but no in the mist of action.

What they should do:

1. Force the player to bandage the wounded to stop the bleeding. [so the main char can still go Rambo for other mins]
2. when the main char screen start seeing thick reddish color and hearing his heart pump faster, he should rest and start removing/stab his own palm with a knife to remove any bullets or he'll die from over bleeding. [enemy will kill you if you remove bullet in the mist of the action, so you have to time your escape {stealth} or wiped out your enemy, this added survival skill, not blazing down AI in god mod]

That was how Rambo survived in the movie right?

dude youve never been in army training or anything have you.

If you are out on your own, no medic about or anything, first thing you need to do is get the bullet out of you before you get led poisoning, if by using a knife, then thats how! they've done a lot of research and probably found thats how real commandos etc do it, it wasnt just "to look cool" or anything.

as for the bandaging, maybe one of the animations will have that, who knows, we only saw about 3 of the totall number of animations for when you're getting hurt.

pfft! without any analgesic? Whats worst? getting led poison or bleed to death in agony?

If you haven't notice, a lot of US soldiers return from Iraq either got amputated cos shrapnel had went into their legs. So those without any medic to tend for them will end up in a body bag due to severe pain and the heavy lost of blood. You're pretty much bleed to death there.

BTW, i was referring to "in-game" survival suggestion, not comparing to a RL situation.

well the "in-game" survival suggestion is to simulate a real suggestion. But i dont think your character is suppose to be a run-of-the-mill soldier, but rather an "Elite" who obviously has no fear!

well, how would you describe those suicidal bombers that happened in Iraq and Japan when corresponding to your "No Fear" remark? They're consider soldiers too, since they're using military tactic to take down their invaders when all fails.

way off topic, totally irellivant to, cos a suicide bomber isnt gonna pull shrapnel out of himself or reattach a leg or w/e, he will be dead

I dont know about no fear, insane for their beliefs maybe?
