Crysis demo due next month

From IGN

Quote:
US, August 27, 2007 - The single-player demo of the upcoming PC shooter Crysis will be available next month, publisher Electronic Arts announced Monday.

Developed by Frankfurt, Germany-based Crytek, creators of the FarCry series, Crysis is set on a futuristic war-torn Earth where military forces are outfitted with performance-enhancing "nanosuits."

The demo contains the entire first level of the single-player campaign, "Contact," and will be released on Sept. 25.

The full version of the game also features up 32 players in online multiplayer mode and is scheduled for release on Nov. 16.

Good news man!

refraction :

If possible please try to make a short review and take some screenshots after you try this game

I would really love to know what spec is needed to have max setting for this game. (max setting and still be able to maintain FPS at 60)

Err... I watched some trailers of the Crisis game and, well... It doesn't appear too stunning for me tbh. Looks like pumped up FarCry, nothing more so far. I hope time will proove I'm wrong ;P

I don't think so.

Graphics look amazing, especially with DX10. Gameplay doesn't look too shabby either, playing with a Super Suit must be wicked. Can't wait!

Obviously screenshots would be highly appreciated refraction, but Nightmare, if you just can't wait there is a Dx9 vs Dx10 video at gamespot.

I can't wait to try it on my pc to see if the DX9 version will at least work. In DX10 this game looks graphically superior to any Xbox360 or PS3 game out there at the moment.

I will be building a new system soon hopefully so I'll be able to try Crysis, Bioshock and other games in full DX10 glory as well as being able to play all of my DX9 games at full speed or a decent speed.
