pcsx2 server would be the official ngemu tf2 server i guess.

ouch satilite. if your worried about ping, a good class to play would be engineer as you wouldn't need to be doing anything involving quick reaction or precise aiming.

Yeah satellite is quite crap, just read their fair access policy and how much they allot you to download in a day before being hit with sub dial up speeds, specifically hughesnet satellite.

Anyways I tested my ping before and the latency was a 750 ping, sometimes lower and sometimes higher depending on some things.

Unfortunately my only choice for broadband where I live is satellite which even isn't true broadband.

I'll just try it out and see how it goes for now, Cfosspeed might help a bit in my situation according to someone.

Oh man... I feel bad for you ~750ping is almost unplayable. You can try CFoS but satellite is pretty much always that slow.

but don't you live in the state of Newyork?

A turn based strategy game would be more appropriate for you, also it wouldn't kill your bandwidth limit. Are you a fan of Heroes of Might and magic 3 or Worms Armageddon?

Never played those games. I'll give TF2 a try and see how it pans out, I'll probably be moving in to the nearest city in my own apartment fairly soon anyways.

We don't have traditional terrestrial broadband available here as we are out in the boondocks/country. Our only choices are satellite or dial-up.

I'm sure that Chrono will add you.

Welcome to the club. Hopefully he'll be on tonight to add you because I'm going to get drunk and get on and play.

You need to sign up in steam community first. There's no such nickname as "omegadox".

Just got (and only have) CSS. AKExodus is the account name, for those moderating membership.

Its not online anymore anyway.
Itd be better if static IP adresses were no longer used, in favour of a more easily rememberable adress such as tf2server.pcsx2.com or similarly easy one.

Sorry to bump this, but it appears both me and bobrocks and possibly others were removed from the Steam group with no warning or indication.

Would someone mind sending us an invite so we can rejoin?

I would really appreciate an answer on the subject...

Maybe we should start a new group. This will also weed out the inactive people in the group as well.
