What makes Xbox360 ellite different from the original?

I've been trying to figure this out but the only difference I can see is that one is black and the other is white. They both are lame azz consoles with lame azz games that are also on PC, so what's the big difference?

EDIT: Sorry if I'm pissing off the 360 fans, but the only real exclusive content this thing has is Halo 3, which is going to be released on PC obviously because Microsoft hasn't learned from their first mistakes with the Xbox1 (which was a great console). Instead they worsen the problem more and more.

Bigger hard drive and HDMI or something. There really aren't any noticeable differences :| Not really worth the price compared to the premium pack.

Well, I think it is great that most games are also released for PC for several reasions.

1. It gives the developers more potential customers!
2. If you have either a high-end PC or a XBOX360 you can play them
3. You can online game with your friend who has a console if you have a PC or vice-versa!

and MS doesn't care either way... buy the game for windows.. they earn money, buy it for 360 they earn money.

360 has no exclusive content? Nice facts. [/sarcasm] Research your outrageous claims before making them thanks, because an opinion based on incorrect information is a bad one.

Still enough to debunk this BS. Unfortunately I can't find any other lists of exclusive games, and the one I linked was so outdated that all the games on the "upcoming" list were already released (I merged the sections). Good games or not, the claim was that there is no exclusive 360 content. That is clearly false. The quality of the games is up to your personal preference and is irrelevent to the point.

Meh, I'm a Wii lover.

Actually, I didn't mean to claim that there was no exclusive content, I was just saying it doesn't have much [that's highly popular or interesting]. It's just my opinion. Maybe it's my fault for not paying attention to it's titles. Xbox1's exclusive titles were alot better (and I'm not talking only about Halo).

BTW: Quake 4 is on PC too. I have the 360 version and it's gaming experience is like eating dry turkey.

For Xbox1 this was portrayed as a negative thing. Now that 360 is here it's a good thing? I'm not saying that you or anyone else is biased against Xbox1, but maybe I'm just biased against 360. I don't exactly hate it, I just can't stand 360. While it's good to have that choice between Xbox and PC, if you are looking to improve the Xbox department, it's good to have enough exclusive content so that the console will be worth buying. It's like this, "why spend 400 bucks for this console if I already have a PC and all of it's games are on the PC?" True the situation is different for those who don't have a good PC (that's why I play HL2 on Xbox). IMO it's just not a good idea to have most/all of your greatest hit titles on the PC if you want your console to excel.

You want to dig up "dead and buried" titles and add them into that list? Know why there's no other? Because there's none!

From what Microsoft told gamers at E3 of 2007, most of the major titles from the 360 will eventually see a PC release... and any other list of exclusive titles you can give out may be drastically reduced.

I would not at all be surprised if that didn't come to pass. Also the words 'most' and 'eventually' don't sound very decisive, and probably won't hold anymore than M$'s original claim to focus on backwards compatibility. Opinions change and I'm sure when it comes time they'll decide that its better to keep the majority of games exclusive to the console.

Way to start a flame war...

You asked the diff between premium and elite, so here is it:

- It's Black
- HDMI Output
- Bigger Hard Drive

That's the answer to your question...

Now, if you want to question wheter to get a xbox or not, it all comes down to this: Does it have any game that interests you? If not, then don't buy it...anyway, i think this thread has gone way off-topic.

The 360 actually has the best (compared to wii, ps3) lineup of games atm, and the PC doesn't even get close. The Games for Windows brand and everything surrounding it has been a big joke so far.

They would even revive Halo 2 and throw it onto the PC, what makes you think they won't do the same for the other games... and after that statement? If they go back on their words, they're going to lose even more faith from gamers, and I don't think that's going to be good. Exclusive for 360 is now more like a wishful thought than an obvious statement. That's not to mention the number of PC users beats all consoles altogether... thus making the PC the largest consumer market out of all of the current generation gaming systems. It's suicidal to neglect that fact.

Actually, it's more like... recent PC games (mostly ports) have been crappy at best... and compared to the 360's current lineup, those things are jokes. If you dwelve more into PC games, however, you may be facing the largest game library in gaming history... and although some of them are not as visually appealing as those things you can find on the 360, they are still more enjoyable than what you can find on the 360.

So did an XBox 360 kill your parents or something?

No. What makes you think so? I'm not bashing it in any way. I'm just saying that it's losing its exclusive contents.

history.. yes, pc gaming has a good history, and I'm all for retrogames, but I'm not living in the past either. There's supposed to be some pretty good dx10 titles out there but I only see a few games that are permanently in need of patching.
