Resident Evil 4 on Wii censored

Yes my friends, it's been already released in Japan and guess what? It's censored, no headshots, no brutal scenes, etc. I wonder why, since GC version wasn't censored (except in Germany) and everybody was fine with it. I wonder how's US/EU version gonna be.

Nope, it was censored in Japan in the Gamecube version so don't worry. Check gamefaqs and see.

How can you censor a Resident Evil game? Its supposed to be gory and bloody. I wonder if they censored Mortal Kombat: Armageddon...

Latest news suggest in Japan that it will be replaced with lovable bunnys and by killing them its killing them with kindness(eg hugging) and UMBRELLA is a jelly bean industry that was taken over by a bad man with attitude wanting to make a profit by placing 25% increase on jelly bean tax. Yeah, censoring Resident Evil is a dumb idea, lets censor Nightmare on Elm Street, maybe Freddie could tickle the kids to death?

thats...odd. i would assume nintendo would stick with the same content found in the GC version. the only reason i could imagine them doing this would be because of the wii's unique control scheme, ive heard manhunt 2 is starting to turn some heads because of that so i guess that is why they are doing this with RE4. i dont like it, but since i dont have a wii and i already have RE4 for the GC i dont really care.

The Japanese Gamecube version of it was censored so I dont know why everyone is acting so shocked. (Dont own it but from differant things I have read.)

I don't understand what will be in the Wii version to warrant paying $20-$40 more than buying the Cube version, you can play it on the Wii, and Electronics Boutique is selling it for $19.99 new, $17.99 used, plus the used version can be had for $1.79 less ($16.29.) I could buy it at that price, I just haven't been interested in the game that much.

well it came out for the GC first,
but since the hardware for GC and wii is aid to be similar,
then it makes sense to port it over and add wii style controls.

You can also say capcom is milking it abit but hey, business is business.
