Differences Between Resident Evil 4 Versions (Gamecube, PS2, and PC)?
I just want to know if theres any differences in them other than the PS2 and PC versions having slightly inferior graphics to the Gamecube version.
Some things seem to be different such as: The area in salazars castle where you have to put the golden cup in the statues hand to open up the door to where ashley gets captured by the bug. I noticed that one area I was able to go in where I had to defeat something in knights armor to get another cup was blocked off by a gate and the cup was already placed in the statues hand. Also there is an area outside the castle where you go in that you have to shoot pieces of wood out of the gears in order to pull a lever to turn the bridge to get across to another area. That Door was as well blocked off or locked, and all I had to do was run around the building to get to a lever to turn the bridge. Is this even the same game, or did they have to change some areas around? It's seems funny after playing the Gamecube version that these areas would be absent from the PC version and possibly the PS2 version ![]() Please do tell what the differences are between these versions, thanks

Yeah I already knew that, but what about what I mentioned above? Some parts of the game seem to be different somehow, as in areas changed around different from the Gamecube version.
Btw, I used a downloaded savegame in order to play the ada scenario. I didn't know that poor ada could be dismembered by the chainsaw man like leon could. My poor video game babe died with her head dismembered ![]() Right now I'm using my own Savegame that I started, and not a hacked one or someone elses. I did use a trainer back before I entered the castle to enable some cheats, but i don't think that would result in areas being changed around or absent from the game. |

Ok, now that explains that.
What about the part outside the castle where you go inside and you have to climb up ladders shooting the wooden blocks out of the gears in order to pull the lever and turn the bridge? I wasn't able to go in there at all like in the gamecube version, as it said the door was blocked off or locked and the lever that was inside the building, was now placed outside on the other side of the building. Is this because I have it on easy too? Btw, this is the USA release of the PC Version of Resident Evil 4
