Anyone play WoW?

Unfortunately, this girl got me into it.

I'm not addicted but I admit I do play quite a bit. I just like teaming up with people and rushing down enemies(I'm an undead warrior). For the horde.

I got a 15 day trial from a newspaper recently, but I'm planning to keep it to destroy it when I trash my Dell motherboard later this year.

WoW ruins lives.

For the horde?!

Haven't played WoW myself, I'm more interested in Lord of the Rings online, because I find the setting more interesting, being a DnD fan.

lol thats exactly what i was thinking.

The problem with MMO's is that they kinda force you to play and level up or be left behind while other/friends/clan members get new items and levels and stuff. Also without any true goal they never end requiring that you just play for no reason. MMO's are a great idea but unfortunately they require alot of time.

Every MMORPG is the same if you think about it. That's probably why lots of people don't like them and tend to avoid them. However, it is quite an experience to team up with people around the globe and take down a huge pixel created dragon or something .

I have played every MMO up to LOTRO for PvP. That is the main squeeze for me in almost all of the ones I have played.

Technically PSO isn't an MMORPG, but I'll give in...

PSO Episode I and II were my all time favorite. Especially on the Xbox. Xbox live with its headset just made the experience...have a lot more icing to it .

Nice, are you still playing the Xbox version? I hope you're enjoying the christmas theme since 2 years ago

Naw, I stopped playing on my Xbox a few years back. Xbox live was getting pretty expensive just for 1 game . I do ocassionally break out my DC with the keyboard and just fool around on PSO solo . Man, I used to stay up all night playing PSO when I was on summer break during my highschool years. Sadly, PSU was a huge disappointment. It just doesn't have that adventure feel to it .

From my experience MMORPGs are a social network with a fantasy setting with second rate gameplay.
