- Square Enix announced Dissidia Final Fantasy for PSP, the game is described as a dramatic progressive action game, and the game features character designs from Tetsuya Nomura and logo design from Yoshi taka Amano. More details will be revealed in the Square Enix Party in Japan on May 12, 2007.

- RUMOR: Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System for PS2, scheduled to release in Japan on August 9, 2007, for 6800 yen. The game will be based on the US/Europe version of FFXII, with a number of new features, such as 12 different license boards which give you different job abilities and additional scenes not found in the original version.

- RUMOR: Square Enix's Dissidia Final Fantasy for PSP will be a 3D battle action game, featuring characters from the series, confirmed characters include Zidane, Garnet, Freya Crescent from FF9, and the Light Warriors from FF1.

FFIV REMAKE FOR DS

- RUMOR: Square Enix is working on a full 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV for Nintendo DS, the game is being developed by Matrix Software, the company developed FFIII for NDS. The remake will have all new episodes throughout the game.

FF7 CC

- Square Enix revealed that Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for PSP will be released in Japan this fall. The game will have a summon system, the summon beasts will appear as enemies first. After you acquired the them, you can use the Reel of DMW to transform into the summon beasts in battles.

Ugh, what a horrible design of the FF4 characters. Metal armour that shows your muscles through it? Please.... Just give them a real knight's plate armour.

Still, this remake would be something I'd buy. Never liked the US Snes version anyway, I hope they'll stick with the Japanese script this time. The game was more mature than most of the series.

What they should do is remake FF7 "PSX" for the PSP. Better graphics and extras like a side quest for Aeris "Bring her back from the dead to get her own back on Seph"

the fighting game doesn't turn me on at all...esp if it's like ehrigez

And...no they should NOT remake ff7 for the psp. If you want to do a game justice, you should really remake it for something at least 2 system ahead of it's time. and the psp is a ps2.

FFIV graphics look childish, but still ok. It's just like FFII graphics. In that Dissidia pic, is that zidane? I thought it was a girl. The original zidane look much better than this.

My only problem with FFIV was hours of leveling. Other then that the game was great. I don't even know how much times i beat it.

Anyway, Cecil looks weird with that armor he's wearing. I wonder if they will use a new script.

Even FFIV GBA is ok already. Why want so many remake for one title? They should start planning on new FF series than a remake.
