Stuck in Gut's Rage: Sword of the Berserk
Hello emuforums, I'm currently playing through Gut's Rage: Sword of the Berserk and I've gotten stuck at the part where the roots/trees are chasing you and you have to jump or go around over rocks and plants. Does anyone have any idea how to beat this? I've tried ~30-40 times and I just can't get past this section. Any tips or if I'm not supposed to jump or something. The GameFAQs guide says not to jump but if I don't jump then it catches up even faster then if I jump. |

Ah, it's the part of the game that made me swear like an angry sailor. It's a very frustrating part, the only way to beat it is to try and find the perfect way by memorizing what will be next. So it will take you another bunch of tries, but eventually you'll make it.

I jumped at some points, yes. But you have to time them right or else you'll be hindered a lot.

It's a nice hack and slash game, with a very interesting story, perfect voice acting, and great music. It's got good graphics as well for its time, being a first gen DC game.
