New DirectX every other month?

This site seem to notify you when new versions of certain programs come out. But is there really a difference with the direct X? I think I updated once, but I assume that I didn't get a new version #. So there are 11 versions directX 9.0c? So why only say 9.0c and not 9.0c1 -p.0c11
The latest version came out (Apr 07) it says.

Also the latest version of ATI 7.4 (April 19, 2007) drivers on the site. also you need to check ATI site if you can upgrade it since some cards can not.

Oddly enough I updates an ATI driver and one emulator game saves didn't work well after that. lol So I went back to the older version.

They are just literally bug fixes to prevent some random crashes, there is almost no improvement in any of those updates.

I recommend downloading those updates over a period of 3-4 months to see some improvement

hehe not the same when new PCSX2 or any other emu is out
