Cool, can't wait, I really love the CoD series. The best WW games by far and I often think of CoD now when I'm out in the forests running like crazy with my assault rifle and having these excercises myself in the army.

Cool, urban and modern style! ![]() Edit: And by "look this good", I meant... well... more than 5 helicopters in one map, a bunch of tanks, a lot of soldiers on screen and so on!

Whoa, a modern COD? Sweet. I hated COD, loved COD2 and 3. Hmm I wonder if the HD trailer is available for download on XBox Live...

I just hope they don't use the same annoying health status like in CoD2 were it felt you were immortal as you could take on infinite amount bullets, you just had to take a bit cover (I guess he pulled out the bullets from his body meanwhile too eh? ) and in a few secs you're just fine again even after being hammered by a machine gun or tasting grenade fragments or get hit by airstrikes.

![]() Did anyone else have trouble telling if this was human?... For a while I thought I was looking at one of the monsters from Shadow of the Colossus.

One thing that always gets me nowadays is the fact that every "modern war" in videogaming takes place in the Middle East. To me that setting is more annoying than World War 2 because it just screams at me "knee-jerk-reaction-to-Americans-wanting-to-kill-Muslims-after-9/11" and because of the sheer volume of games using that setting probably outnumber WW2 games (especially in levels of crapness.) There are plenty other areas you can get for "modern warfare" than some anonymous Middle Eastern country. How about Chechnya/Dagestan, Columbia, China, DPRK, Serbia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka or any old war-torn s**thole in Africa? I mean if you're going to create a fictional war, let the writer's imagination go wild. That's why I respect the new Tom Clancy games: Mexico and Las Vegas make a welcome change to both WW2 and a generic Middle Eastern setting. Quote:

those ideas about new places to fight in are actually really good and i can already imagine how fresh and exciting it would be. i agree, they should use other locales. you guys should send those ideas to the writers of these games.
