Need some help remembering a game
I played a game and I can't remember the name. The game started out on a train and then something attacked us. I remember you were supposed to protect these people and lead them some where. The were like villagers and I think you were going through space on a train. You had to fight a bunch of monsters and lead each person from one area to another. It was an action rpg but for what system I cant remember. I know its not much to go on but when you been playing games for 16 years some games get a little fuzzy as time goes by. If anyone can tell me what game this is and for what system I would greatly appreciate it.

How old was the game or how long ago did you play it? Are you saying that you played it 16 years ago or you've been a gamer for 16 years? Is the game a side scroller or top-view?

I have been playing for 16 years "total"(it was my way of saying I played a lot of games, over 5,000). I think I played the game about 5 years ago. No it was not Full Metal Achemist its older than that. I'm thinking it was for the snes, maybe it was Japanese translated to english. I use to own like 500 snes game but they were lost in a fire a couple years back. Some were Japanese and I think I got the rom translated somewhere on the net(I most likely had the original). Any ideas would be helpful. If you need more info on the game just ask and I will try to remember. I think it was top view.

Your harddrive overheated? :P
It reminds me of a DC rpg, but it's snes you are talking about, so it's not the game I have in my mind.

What are the weapons like? Is the whole game on a train in space? What are the people wearing? I'm trying to look at screenshots and it kind of hard to know what I'm looking for.
Here are some pages you can look at that might refresh your memory if we can't help you out. That's how I found a specific game that I was looking for a while back. I saw the name and I instantly remembered that it was the game that I was looking for. It starts out on a train and I think there are 3 characters and they are talking about there mission(I don't remember the mission). Its kinda of a spacey game I think. One of the characters had white hair and one was a girl. Your on this train and it gets attacked and I think it crash lands on a planet or astroid. In each car of the train are villagers and when you crash theres some conversation (I don't remember what). Then there are monsters around that you have to destroy and keep away from the villagers. You have to lead them from one area to the next killing the monsters and sending each person one by one to the exit of each map(I think you cycled through a menu with the persons face so you can direct each person individually to move ahead when its safe). It might have been for GBA. I can see the game playing like a movie in my head but I can't remember names or colors(I know thats weird but thats how my brain works). I think the weapons where swords and guns and maybe you could swap between the three characters in real time(meaning you controlled one while the other two were a.i. controlled). I wish I could just broadcast whats in my head so someone could just see what I see in my head. Sorry I forgot to mention after the train crashed you get off the train and and move around the planet or whatever the place is, I just cant remember.

Thank you so much thats it. I could see it so clearly in my head but just could not remember it. I have been trying to remember the name to this game for so long. I remember I use to own this game but I lost it or it was stolen at some time. Finally I can play it again. Moderator if you come by the post you can lock it I found what I came for thanks to everyone here.
