Where's the best places to get Morrowind Mods?
I'm waiting for the Morrowind GotY edition I "won" on EBay, the payment is going from Pennsylvania to Oregon, so it'll be a while before I have the game plus expansions, but I thought I might want to download some cool mods to play with it, I'm on dialup though, so I'm limited on what I can download, although I could let the computer download overnight if needed. I'm really hoping to get some time into this game and really play through it, I've heard there are supposed to be some really cool mods, but they require the expansion packs, and soon I will have them. I'd also be interested in a tutorial on building mods as I'd like to do that down the line...This would be the first time I'd be trying to make a mod, so I need something e.g. "dummies" style! LOL :P Maybe someday I'll have a PC that can play the sequel everyone's raving about? ![]() It'll pro'lly be in the budget bin, just like Morrowind was when I "won" it on EBay! ![]() Thank you...

Thank you. Are there any that Morrowind fans would suggest? Quests etc? There's a lot to choose from... I'm possibly getting the package by Saturday, it's going to get mailed to me tomorrow, from Ohio...

I would recommend finishing the main quest before downloading other quests if you like a very powerful character, also look carefully around the places you are sent to, some places along the main quest contain unique artifacts in out of the way locations so look carefully. It's been a long time since I last played Morrowind and I can't remember all the good mods, however I will strongly recommend against any "House in Balmora" mods as those tend to disrupt game play, ruin the mood and be redundant when you can just leave stuff on the ground anyway. Since you will be getting the GOTY edition the additional quests in Tribunal and Bloodmoon will keep you too busy to need to download additional quests, also since different people have different tastes in mods, you might want to play a little first to get the feel of the game which will help you decide what mods are right for you. |
