Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, both have expansions.
There's also Icewind Dale 1 and 2. Heart of Winter, the expansion pack for ID1 has got Starforce protection so I'd avoid it.

Recently Neverwinter Nights 2 got released, which is also a pretty nice game but definitely not up to the standards Fallout, Planescape and Baldur's Gate set.

I think Deus Ex is one too.
I was also playing Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator but with the res already set a 640x480 it's a pain.

Edit: I mistook Fallout with another game. Thinking it was like Deus Ex.

It's old Starforce, so it's not as deadly. Everything with HoW went okay. Hell, I didn't even notice it had Starforce.

I thought Starforce updated itself?
Or is that a "Recent" feature?

thinking about the baldurs gate games already but i forgot there was icewind dale.
@silenus: i have Deus Ex for pc and DX: IW for xbox and completed them both and i liked them (IW was not that good compared to the 1st game though IMO)

and i've heard that starforce is a royal pain in the ass to deal with either way so methinks i'll avoid HoW - thanks for the warning though

No no, it's really tame. There's no need to avoid that version of Starforce in HoW. Unless I have a different version... Mine was the bundle of IWD and IWD-HoW. Maybe Starforce wasn't there in my setup...

that's a possible explanation and from what i have heard about starforce, i don't wanna touch any starforce-protected game for fear it will screw my computer over. sorry if that seems a little paranoid but a cd protection that locks you from using virtual drives for legal purposes and screwing up cd-drives (thats what i have heard at least) is something i don't want on my computer. anyway, what's the compilation name that has IWD and HoW in one that you have so i can look for it?

Thanks for the info, perhaps I should look up some more info on it, I know Starforce saw various versions before the final one which caused so much commotion.

There's Anachronox. It's a fine PC RPG.

@Boltzmann: thanks for that one, i'm gonna try and track it down since it looks pretty good shame ion storm went down the pan (serves them right for DX: IW though)

I really feel sorry for them - an Anachronox sequel could be great (judging by the ending, they planned one).

It's called Icewind Dale: The Collection. Honestly, I can't remember if I was using virtual drives at that time, so I don't know if something could have been screwed up.

Fable: The Lost Chapters is pretty good even though it doesn't play like Fallout, there are a few similarities..

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but is this both Fable and the addon? I'm assuming it is, but you know what happens to those who assume!
