Most addictive games ever...? - Page 4

Addicting games... To me this means the following:

- fast fun (just start it and never stop again)
- lots of fun, but little complexity, therefore little frustration
- infinite replay value

All these points apply to a limited choice of games to me:

- Donkey Kong Country 2 (and only this one!) - simply badass
- Streets of Rage 2
- Metal Slug X

All the other games that have been mentioned here might be fun, but honestly, I wouldn't call them truly addictive, simply because they have slow/boring portions, as well.

Seeing as how I've invested over 1,272 hours into a single one of my 42 characters, I think I'm going to have to go with World of Warcraft.

2520 hours, and that was only my shaman
Also got 2 other lv 60 alt which are around 30 days together...

But i quited the crack! I'm clean now!

Diablo 2: LOD... i put about 100 hours into a druid... the bad thing is the pc got formatted... i dont play it so much any more lol

Star Ocean III: TTEOT... hmmm more than 700 hours put into this... 3/4 of the chars on lvl 255... half of the super weapons... up to lvl 181/255 of the tower... ***** of a game.. memory card died... im back to 20 hours lol

those are the main ones... though i have countless mmorpg's and other games... i may list when i am not so busy...

- Silent hill 1. Still paly it, mostly in school

- Lineage 2. Great game and great grafics.

- Runescape. Can't say it is so much addicting anymore, since I have sold most valuable stuff I have in the game (I actually sold 2 items called "partyhats" in runescape on eBay for roughly $1000! I still ahve 3 items I can get about $500 for lol. And my "main" can also be sold for about $500)

- Old NES games!! Can't get enough of them XD

- Zelda, Ocarina of time and Majoras mask.

I'll add more later if I remember more.

Most addictive right now? Kingdom Hearts II, but it work vice versa for me, since because I clear the game, I want to play the first one. Other games are like Final Fantasy X, and some other FF.

I've only one character in EQ2, raider, rp'er and all...creation date Dec 24 2004..and even so, I think my total played time if of 700 hours.
