Anything I played up until the age of 12. After that, there wasn't much addiction other than Diablo 2. I'm one of those unlock/finish/clear the game and move on type of person. Until that point, I guess I'm addicted.

FFVI,FFVII, metal gear solid, castlevania sotn, castlevania 64, doom absolution (its a windows port of doom 64, much better also) the original hexen (i use a doomsday source port, looks alot nicer), any of the silent hill games, demons crest, quake 1, and half life.

I find final fantasy 7,8,9 & 10, the arc the lad games and F.E.A.R (i mean i playing this through on hard after i completed it on normal and easy) to be vey adictive

Another game worthy of mention is Mario Kart:Super Circuit for the GBA. I had a lot of sleep deprivation over some races in that game.

I hear a lot about Lego Star Wars 2 being the new addiction for gamers, might give it a go...

Kingdom Hearts 2, i swear that game is so addictive i haven't had any other game this year that makes me play it from start to finish without boring me.

FF 7 and 8.

Street Fighter 2 (any of the snes versions).
I finished it a couple of times without losing a single round and winning all the rounds in Perfect

Ut2k4.
Yea i know UT is better but Ut2k4 has so many mods and maps and modes that i really cant foresee when ill be putting it down.

Diablo 2.
Had me addicted for a good year or 2. Then every few months when i get playin again ill be addicted for a month or two.

Warcraft 2.
Played it for years and years before i got tired of it.

Rise of Nations.
Havent stopped playin it since the day i got it. Yet to try rise of legends though.

For me, only the original Unreal Tournament had shown me my related fallacies. UT has brought me as far as competing for 'my nation'.. *shudders* .. as well as training what is generally considered the best german UT player out there. Whether never having experienced an equally worthy game can be explained through my resulting rationalizations on the uselessness of attending online competitions, or through the lack of similar quality, I do not know. Perhaps both?
