For launching it!!!!!raaah just see the intro(Factor 5 intro) but the menu doesn't appear and give me a beautiful (an very esthetic sure) black screen.......

So did someone had the same problem?did he resolve it?

Yes I do.The only patch I've found just add a new wing to the game and correct an issue about TNT cards. So don't really resolve my problem.

Hum thinking about it I had the same problem with soul reaver 1....Raaah.
just a question: when Pj64 1.7 will be released??? Yaaaaaah stay cool and don't push the ban button! it was a joke...

Ah yes I must precise that I used the win98 compatibility of winxp...Raaaaaah.

I can't remember much. But if it's the flight game, then check for compatibility if you are using Windows XP . It should work on Win 98 settings pretty well

You might have to lower the acceleration level a couple of notches. Right click on your desktop, then click on Properties. Click on the Settings tab, then the Advanced button, and then on the Troubleshoot tab. Play around with that slider a bit.

I have the demo of that game on CD, I'll install it and see if it runs on my main machine.

Edit: I got errors about not having DX6 installed when I tried to run it immediately. When I set the exe's to 98 compatibility mode, it ran. The intro movies showed and the Factor5 movie blacked out at about 0.2 fps . It looked like it tried to load the menu but it crashes a few frames in.

if it's the forceware drivers, even though you maybe don't want to, I think driver version 77.77 or so should work.
That one's just a year old....

I'll plug my thread about old game issues while I'm at it....
http://forums.ngemu.com/game-discuss...ctx-games.html

It's a different issue, but it's also a bit about texture problems with older games....
