Exclamation PC Wont Read Disks

Hey, I'm trying to play FF7, I put the disk in but nothing happens, no disk spinning sound, nothing
So thinking my Drive is broken, I stick a normal cd in there, works fine. Put PSX disk in and nothing happens, this is realy annoying me.

Any suggestions?

Thankyou for your help

Dave

Could it be to do with the dvd region settings of the drive?

dvd regions are only effected by dvds itself.

And, did you check is the drive visible in my computer at all?

you might need to get a cd lens cleaning kit and give it a run through, your laser might be dirty.

or worst case scenario your lens is giving up, youll have to buy a new drive if thats the case
