nanostray 2

http://nanostray2.com/

Sadly this is everything I can found out about the game so far (from insertcredit), but it's great to know one of my most favourite DS games gets a sequel

Nanostray is a shmup, it was released for DS in 2005 and featured some very pretty* realtime 3D graphics

*for a DS

Because the link isn't too informative at the moment this is the homepage for the previous nanostray game to give some idea of what this actually is.

Looks good :O

actually, getting through single player mode is easy (with continues)....the real challenge is the score attacks after that.

Looks nice. And apparently they got rid of that stupid "use the touchpad to change weapons" thing.

It looks very good (for the DS game), but I like to see the use of both screen (I want gameplay to span both screens). I want that old time arcade feel (tv was placed vertically).

that was weird, yes... but I got around it by just selecting at the beginning of a stage ...always used weapon 4 anyways
...the funny thing is, if they'd only allowed you to select a weapon at the beginning of the stage, no one would've complained about it

which is, IMO
A) a good thing
B) not a mandatory anyways

developers especially seem to have trouble understanding B.
yes, there are awesome games that use the touchscreen, but not every game needs it.
