Importing Save Game From VBA to VBALink

I searched the forums and couldn't find anything on the topic I'm looking to discuss. But, I wanted to trade Pokemon with VBALink, but it won't let me load my save game from VBA. I tried changing the file extension to the one that VBALink uses to save game data, but it still didn't work.
