What is the place of Xenosaga 1,2,3 in the time line of Xenogears?

I only played Xenogears, watched the Xenosaga anime and checked the perfect works book of xenogears. So I want to know if Xenosaga 1 is before or after the Abel, Zohar contact. And I also want to hear a detailed explaination of how Abel appeared at the end of Xenosaga 1. Because in the anime they didn't include that scene.

Well I'm not sure if they even officially confirmed if Xenosaga is related to xenogears. If it is then All of the xenosaga episodes are episode 1 the perfect works timeline. Its before Abel, zohar and everything we see in xenogears. There is a scene in the ending of XS1 where you see Abel. You just see a quick shot of him sitting down, theres nothing special about it. Also I forget if Nephilem is in the XS anime or not but she looks like Elly, only as a child.

Wasn't Xenogears supposed to be part 5 of a trilogy or something. Been awhile since I have played Xenogears. Nevered really bothered playing Xenosaga series since I was happy with Xenogears ending and plot.
