Did you try www.ebay.com.
I hope you don't think we're gonna help you find it, unless it's freeware.

lol...i bet he won't find the original MSX metal gear on ebay. (Yes, the YAMAHA PC he mentioned is a msx...)

I don't know if Konami considers the original metal gear abandonware, so, www.google.com is your friend.

And I'm surprised that no-one's noticed yet, but Raf: your sig is FREAKING HUGE. There's a 500*130 limit on signature images.

you don't want to make that guy poor, though. Do you know what the game sells for at ebay....

Technically illegal, so we can't point you to rom links Raf, despite it being old and all that. As it's featured in MGS3 Subsistence, that only makes it more of an issue.

Then I haven't even begun with the fact that most MSX (because I assume you played it on a Yamaha MSX computer in 1989) emulators have original bios roms included by default, which technically is also illegal, allthough not many seem to care a lot about that, despite the availability of a legit bios rom.
(side note: dumping bios roms of a real MSX is quite easy. I wonder how "legit" my real MSX' bios is, since it's quite a hacked one (European MSX2, model philips NMS8250, modified to support MSX2+ extentions. I love it, though))

well games are put on there when companies no longer gain revenues from games, for example you search for a game thats still being sold, under "where to get it" instead of a download link you will have a link to a site where you can buy it.

Its one of them things where techincally it isnt legal, but there is no justification why it would be illegal as nobody will lose money due to it no longer being sold.

if you notice the only shop selling it is Amazon and thats 2nd hand so no money will go to the publisher/developer

Closing this:

We can't go posting links to ROMS or other copyright material on these forums on the basis that the 'company no longer makes a profit from it', thus the same applies for a variety of links in this thread, this is highly grey, if not verging towards very black, as these games are still the copyright of their owners, and you do not have the expressed permission to provide links to or distribute their material without the say-so of the copyright holder.

NGemu doesn't support piracy of any form, mild or otherwise, everyone please review the Rules.
