PS3 Controller

ive been reading around some forums and websites and noticed that some people are still calling it a "tilt" controller and associating it with some less capable products a few years back.

here is a new, better video (than the IGN/Gamespot ones i think) that demonstrates that this is actually a full 3D sensing controller, not just "tilt".

I just wish that instead of the tilt sensor wii ripoff they used a rumble pack. That would make more sense

i also find it odd that there are people saying Sony ripped-off X360's Guide button idea when the Home button has been on the PSP for much longer...

It actually looks almost exactly the same with PSX/PS2 dualshocks.... I know you are talking about the one that looked like boomerang but they dumped that design. Check out the link D.D. posted.

its called competition, they probably thought itd be a rubbish idea, but when people started enjoying the idea, they decided theyd get it working.

It just means more options for the gamer. So why all the haters, oh I should listen to hushy more often ^^

Competition is a good thing. Fanboys are not.

Oh and I like the controller. Of course I havn't held it so i'm not giving a full-on review or anything, but if it's anything like the previous versions, I think we're in for a treat!

I have heard some complaints at E3 that it's too light and feels "cheap" I dislike controllers that are feather light, so this may pose a small problem for me.

its hard to show in pics what the controller is doing. i guess you'll have to take everyone's word that it tracks motion and tilt then. but i uploaded a picture for you...

I wonder if it'll be able to be plugged into a PC like the 360's controller?
