It's basically a custom server running an old version of Ultima Online. I've never played any other MMORPGs so I can't give a comparison, sorry.
There are some screenshots in the strange/funny events thread on the forum. I'll try to find time to get some more tonight.

Hum i used to love UO, but after playing it for 2 years im pretty sure i wont try it again xD
