IGN reported on it, and got pictures with old SP, new SP, and GBM all turned on with the same game. Seems like they agree with everything I said - great minds think alike?

But it's not perfect -- the refresh rate is a tad slower than the classic GBA SP and Game Boy Micro screen, so there's an ever so subtle "blur" when objects move or the screen scrolls.
yikes.

Well as I said before, I only noticed very little ghosting. The worst I have seen is the ship in Galaga (the Super GB version) would appear a bit dim when moving, instead of being completely bright white on a completely black screen when not moving. In any game with a lot of colours, it's really a non-issue.

The screen does blur a tiny bit when it's scrolling very fast. But for example in SMB3, when Mario is running full speed flying through a stage, you really have to look hard to notice things are a bit blurred. It's not even close to actually affecting your positioning or identifying things.

DW, I don't know where you live, but in N America you can always trade in not-too-old systems at EB Games And I think you might want to hurry up before the market realizes the old SP with frontlit screen is worth even less now. Every time I see an old SP in brand new packaging I feel sorry for the store... you have to REALLY like the colour to buy a frontlit SP at the same price.
