The best game music composer for me has to be Yuzo Koshiro

just cant forget how he made such great music for streets of rage and all using a $5 yamaha chip.
Does anyone know what his latest projects will be. ive tried his site but its sort japanese see...

Edit 1 : I searched for you abit. I found that he is running his own company since a while. Translating the web page didn't give me something unique though. Some talk about soundtracks released for Namco vs capocm. I'm not sure if he amde them though.

Hmm he seems to be out of the limelight for a while. Shame considering his contributions to so many top titles.
yeh his company is called ancient corp, and they have done some soundtracks for a game for GBA called car battler joe, but it seems to be sorta lacklustre id say.
Only when he produces streets of rage 4 hell be back..

I'm looking at the Shenmue OST and it seems he did 3 arranged versions, which are about the best versions of all the Shenmue songs I have. Definately worth getting.

And also iirc "AST" stands for "arranged sound track".
I can barely remember SOR music now. Maybe I should replay it after all these years. Although I wasn't the big fan of it.

Like Kellicros said, it's Original Sound Track. There are three arranged songs by him on that disc. I like them even better than the Shenmue Orchestra Soundtrack.
