Could be something else... but it looks like a insulin shot :S considering how much he smokes it could be some other disease that requires sudden injections too I guess. ( Fact remains he's in rather bad health... I guess they want to show kids that his life is not that healthy )

The injection could certainly relate to Fox-die, or could be related to his body suffering from the accelorated ageing that he's suffering (Muscles rapidly shrinking etc). Can't believe people moaned over his age, it's part of the story (atleast Kojima sticks to his plot). I hope his problems with the rapid ageing etc lead to some interesting gameplay features, and I ain't talking about beating people to death with his walking stick..... ¬¬

Aa, yes, snake forgetting what to do.... the sniper rifle strating to shake extremly much... running out of breath while being hunted for a short while.. and collapsing.. aa the possibilities are infinite... hmm, if they do that... it'd be rather unique as far as I know at least.

Also, kojima said the real reason he aged the cast was not story related. He said the perfect looking skin of the last generation (and DoA4 ) made him realize that the only way to go further was to make imperfect (looking) characters and worlds.

His team is reportedly working on specialized skin shaders and maping to illustrate this.

im thinking the next in the series wont have snake. in mgs4 he'll prolly sacrifice himself and raiden will be the main character in the next one since they're making him super cool in mgs4 XD. then again it depends on fan pressures too i guess.

if u were watching close u might noticed that the man from the MGS 4 trailer WAS in fact raiden
SNAKE is just a codename, thats how i see the story. But i´m really looking forward the story of this future desert setting.
