Well, Snatcher, Policenauts, and Metal Gear All exist within the same (Kojima) universe (Meryl Silverberg is in Policenauts)

On a side note, some even say additional konami games take pace in the same universe with the same timeline: the past (Akumajou Dracula/Castlevania) the present (Silent hill) the near future (Metal Gear) and the far future (Contra)

characters from rumble rose are in mgs3 subsistence. i guess kojima can use any characters from konami in his series.

I guess. Some things would be kinda strange though, but in theory it would be possible to make a crossover game.
Snatcher references to the Metal Gear menace of the late 20th century (when Gillian receives his navigator metal gear mk2, which looks pretty much the same as the one in the MGS4 trailer). In Snatcher it's 2050, and somewhere in the 1990's a distaster has occured in Russia, killing half of the world population. This is neither confirmed or denied in MGS and MGS2 (which would occur probably shortly after this disaster). It's possible though, since MGS, MGS2, and afaik also Policenauts play in the US (I don't know Policenauts well because of the lack of an english release - I do know it has Meryl in it).
Something else is Dr. Petrovich. He's a character in MG and MG2, but gets killed in MG2. He's in Snatcher though (as a very old man). I guess it'd be perfectly possible since in MG/MGS people are dead and then alive again all the time... or it's a different Petrovich.

Sorry, but bai bai x360 and revo, MGS4 is famous for gameplay and story, and with these graphics, heh I smell some more SONY dominance, also noting that this is 'early' PS3, graphics and so forth tend to improve over a consoles life.......

Well, have to agree here. The promised lineup on the PS3 looks more impressive to me than the one on X360. Anyone wants to disagree?

And MGS4 looks really good and considering the difference between MGS2 and MGS3, I just can't visualize what MGS5 would be like.

Err ok. Don't bash me guys, I wasn't the fan of MG ever. But I still respect it.

The problem is that I really really want to know what did the last MG games did to your minds to make you get interested in my grand father doing a role in a video game? (Brain washing maybe) Yes that's sure looking like him if he does abit of exercising every day .

So how did Mr.Kojima (Is that his name?) convince you guys to like that formula of grannies !!? Btw, usually the big boss is older than the hero . Now I really wonder about ....

Something you may want to think about is that age is not always synonymous with weakness.

Just because someone is over twenty doesn’t mean they can’t be strong, intelligent or even beautiful (Some men and women look better then at 40 and 50 then most do at 20.)

In today’s world we should be honoring and learning form those more advanced in years then us, instead of looking down on them.

Anyway, in the game I think you might be switching back and forth in time (younger snake, older snake, riden and maybe even big boss)

Well, like I said before he would look much better without that mustache. The grey hair is fine it’s just that badly “pasted on” mustache making him look strange.


(Also that new Eye patch/Combat display doesn’t look good. It just looks boxy and out of place.)

Well, it'd be cooler if he takes up Ocelot's poition in the patriots and screws Ocelot out of his position!

Indirectly, he'll be the boss then too and the climax might pretty much be Snake vs Raiden
