GTA-SA stuck with 60hz :s

Hey, I just installed GTA SA, and no matter the resolution I use, it always runs
at 60hz even though RivaTuner is set to override the refresh rate?
How can I force 85hz? Preferably without patching it to 1.01, my bro wants to
see what Hot Coffee is

Will 1.01 solve the problem, because I also would like that!

Sorry, I can't say if 1.01 will help, I got rid of the PC version when I got the Xbox version. Try Powerstrip though, I could never get the brightness in CS to change, and this did it. Maybe it'll do your refresh rates too :P

BTW, Hot Coffee is insanly stupid :P apparently CJ still has his clothes on throughout the entire game :P

Ok, I fixed it, this game requires RivaTuner's refresh overrider to be set in compatibility mode, blend and perf won't do the job. It works fine now but it takes longer to switch
resolutions, same goes for 2D/3D
