help for legend of dragoon

I am having trouble with Legend of Dragoon...I have defeated Lenus and the dragon....after that my screen goes blank...it stays on a black screen...I thought it was my game so I went out and bought a brand new one and it still gets stuck at the very same screen....Please someone help me...I am playing on ps2 . i just want to finish the game....PLEASE HELP!!!!

Very strange indeed. Are you using any cheatcodes at all and does your PS2 have trouble loading any other games? Perhaps you could try on a friends PSX/PS2 to get pass this point?
